Bol – Paradise facing the sea

Bol is the perfect holiday destination which combines beauty of the landscape with a pristine coloured sea. Bol is located on the island of Brac, which is off the coast of Split in Dalmatia, Croatia.

Kite surfing is one of the sport activities that attracts people from around the world to Bol. Bol is situated between Vidova Gora, the Adriatic island's highest point and the island of Hvar. Boat excursions around the islands

The best way to discover an island is to take an excursion by boat. Bol has many little coves to explore. If you are more adventurous, you can take a day trip across to Hvar, either to do some shopping or go snorkelling.

Vidova Gora

Bol is at the base Croatia's islands highest elevated point, Vidova Gora mountain. You can take a day's excursion up the mountain, by car or hike, and get a stunning view of Bol from above.

Local produce

Take advantage of the surrounding sea and its fish. Every morning fishermen sell their freshly caught fish. Just be there early enough to get the freshest and best selection off their boats.

Arriving by plane

Bol Airport or Brač Airport (IATA: BWK, ICAO: LDSB) is an airport on the Croatian island of Brač, close to the town of Bol. It is primarily served by charter traffic from Europe during the summer seasons. Operators during the summer months are Croatia Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Private Wings. Most of the traffic occurs between Brač and Austrian cities. In 2011 airport handled 12,504 passengers.
